Active Member Criteria and Categories

Must work full-time in their position, be directly involved in sales, marketing or promotion work or be engaged in the work defined in the Membership Classifications or the equivalent managerial positions. Have a minimum of three years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry. This experience need not be in a managerial position.

Associate Member

Persons working in a responsible position closely connected with travel and tourism. Applications giving qualifications for Associate membership must be submitted by the applying club to the Secretary General. Associate members are limited to 10% of the membership.

Young Skål Student & Professional

Young Skål Student applies to senior students in tourism studies.  Young Skål Professional encompasses individuals under 35 advancing in Travel & Tourism related careers.
